IT literacy in Singapore started with CPF Board back in the 60's or 70's when they were the first statutory board to adopt computers (back then it was just a small 16-bit micro-computer).
As of today, CPF boasts of one of the largest IT infrastructure, complete with web-site, phone dial-in, mobile apps and a customer service helpline.
Other agencies that are computerized are Income Tax and ACRA, easily accessible by members of the public.
